Soy Rosemary Flank Steak
This delicious soy and rosemary marinade can be used for beef roasts, beef ribs, pork loins, and short ribs. In this recipe, Diva Q opts for Flank steak
Ingredients
1kg whole trimmed flank steak
MARINADE INGREDIENTS
1 cup (250ml) low sodium soy sauce
130ml rice wine vinegar
30g finely chopped rosemary
3 tbsp minced garlic
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp onion granules
1 tbsp coarse ground black pepper
Method
1. Whisk marinade ingredients together until the ingredients have liquified. Place the flank steak in a non-reactive container (plastic, glass, or resealable bag) pour marinade over the steak and turn over to coat. Marinate meat should be refrigerated for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight.
2. Preheat grill to 400°F (200°C)
3. Grill flank steak for 5-8 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 120-125°F (around 50°C) for medium rare
4. Remove from grill and rest for 10 minutes. Slice against the grain and serve.
