Competitors will battle it out at the Ludlow Food & Drink Festival, using only their live fire knowledge and the Kadai range, to create exceptional dishes that showcase their ability to harness heat, smoke, and embers.

Kadai is delighted to announce the return of the British Live Fire Cooking Championships (BLFCC) for 2025. Following the success of last year's event, this year's competition is set to be even more thrilling, celebrating the very best in live fire cooking from across the UK.

The competition is open to anyone passionate about barbecuing, with the aim of championing the artistry and tradition of cooking over live fire. Kadai, renowned for its iconic firebowls and dedication to bringing people together through the love of fire and food, is proud to be the organiser of this year's event, reinforcing its commitment to the UK's live fire community.

The grand final will take place at Ludlow Food Festival on 12-14th September, where the most talented live fire chefs will go head-to-head in a nail-biting cook-off, judged by an expert panel of industry professionals. Spectators can expect a high-energy experience, with an electric atmosphere, exceptional food, and plenty of inspiration for their own outdoor cooking adventures.

The winner will not only be crowned the BLFCC Champion but will also receive a golden ticket to compete alongside live fire cooks from around the world at the legendary World Food Championships with a shot to win $10,000.
