Berkeley Homes 2023

Knights Quarter, Winchester – a new development of apartments and houses from Berkeley Homes – played host to a barbecue event for residents, run by BBQ magazine. Despite the rain, homeowners and guests enjoyed live-fire cooking from Phil Yeomans, executive chef at the five-star country house hotel Lainston House, and his team, just a few miles from the Hampshire city.

The BBQ menu, cooked on a Vulcanus grill, Weber and Kamado Joe, with equipment supplied by Kingsworthy Foundry, included cherry crush smoked pork burnt ends, cedar plank salmon with lemon verbena creme fraiche, satay cauliflower with pomegranate corn relish and teriyaki chicken lollipops with honey and lime glaze. The drinks were provided by Powder Monkey Brewing Co from Gosport in Hampshire and Beefsteak Club wines, served by The King Alfred pub, Winchester.
